  1. I like the list. I am surprised that I don't see the Magnificent Seven on here, but I do understand that it is very much a "Hollywood Western."

Have you seen Broken Trail? It was an AMC original. I really enjoyed it.

  2. A lot of good stuff on there but I hated The Salvation and think Tombstone is overrated. Law and Order with Walter Huston is a much better telling of the events in Tombstone. Glad you got The Westerner in there. Brennan is excellent and the cinematography by Gregg Toland is stunning.

  3. What a wonderful and detailed post about 1940s shoes! The way you've captured the elegance of that era is truly inspiring — those platform styles and T-strap heels are absolutely timeless. I've always been fascinated by how wartime restrictions actually pushed designers to become more creative, resulting in some of the most iconic footwear silhouettes in fashion history. I recently found myself deep in research mode (much like tackling SPSS Assignment Writing Service projects that require thorough analysis and attention to detail!) trying to track down a pair of reproduction 1940s wedges, and your photos have given me such a clear reference point. The cork and wood platforms you've showcased are particularly stunning. Thank you for putting together such a beautifully curated collection of images and information — this is exactly the kind of vintage fashion resource that's hard to find elsewhere.
