Big Virgil Partch fan here.
When I was a kid I would pore all my Dad's TRUE magazines looking for cartoons by VIP or Virgil Partch. The guy was one of the most prolific spot cartoonists of the lat 50's early 60's. His stuff was literally everywhere in magazines and ads and even bar ware. I remember annoying my uncle by going through his cocktail napkins to read all the VIP cartoons.
